Scottsdale's Major Employers
Scottsdale is home to many companies' corporate headquarters. It's location to the northeast of Phoenix makes Scottsdale an ideal location to go north to Flagstaff or south to Tucson. Since the cost of living in Scottsdale is one of the highest in the Phoenix Metro area, many people who work in Scottsdale commute in from surrounding cities. This creates a long commute time for people who work in Scottsdale, in which do not live in Scottsdale.
