San Tan Ranch is a community of over 1,800 homes in the city of Gilbert. The master planned community got its name because it overlooks the San Tan Mountains to the southeast. San Tan Ranch is located in the Southeast Valley of the Phoenix Metro area in the City of Gilbert. It is oriented to the southeast intersection of Higley and Pecos Roads. This is just 1.5 miles to the San Tan Freeway ( Loop 202). It is roughly a 45 minute commute to downtown Phoenix.
