The Biltmore Resort has two first-class courses (Links and Adobe). The Links course has numerous water hazards and most of the greens are elevated. The Adobe course is more traditional in design with wider fairways lined by citrus trees. Green fees are very pricey in the peak season with an 18-hole round costing $200 during the peak season.

The Raven is probably one of the most unique courses in the Greater Phoenix area.If has over 6,000 pine trees that were planted in 1997, so the course has more of a Midwestern feel to it. The course is situated in between South Mountain and the downtown Phoenix area.

Pointe Hilton Golf Club is located on Lookout Mountain and was designed by Bill Johnston in 1989. The course is very traditional on the front nine with wide fairways and small greens. The back nine is elevated, featuring three holes with water. The signature hole at Pointe Hilton is #18, a 510 yard par 5, which has a peninsula green with numerous sand bunkers.

Designed by Nick Faldo in 2002, Wildfire features two 18-hole championship courses (Faldo & Palmer). The Palmer course has segmented fairways with relatively large greens. The Faldo course is a desert-style course that measures 6,846 yards with an underrated 71.6 rating.

Club West is known for its elevated greens and the fact that it is the second all-sodded course in the west. The signature hole is #17, due to its stacked double green and views of the Estrella Mountains.
500 Club - Public

Located at the base of Thunderbird Mountains, the 500 Club is a great course for players of all skill levels. The signature hole is #18, a 480 yard par 5, which has a tight tree lined fairway with water on the right. Water hazards can be found on five other holes on the course.
