Peoria is home to two Cactus League Spring Training Teams (the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners) that play at the Peoria Sports Complex. Additionally, there are various events and festivals that take place throughout the year at the Peoria Sports Complex. Many Peoria residents enjoy boating and waterskiing at Lake Pleasant as well as visiting the Challenger Learning Center.
